Abbott Informatics announces the launch of version 11.4 of the world-class STARLIMS laboratory information management system (LIMS)
Hollywood, Florida – Abbott Informatics announced the launch of version 11.4 of the world-class STARLIMS laboratory information management system (LIMS).
Designed to improve the informatics infrastructure of laboratories in diverse industries, STARLIMS Technology Platform v11.4 includes a completely remodelled HTML5 subsystem to improve functionality across the board, and support desktop, server and mobile operating systems and technologies.
Key features include enhanced cyber security and Advanced Analytics (version 10.2), the latest SDMS (Scientific Data Management System, version 1.8), and faster, more intuitive performance. A redesigned development framework provides full access to Sencha HTML5 controls, and a new global search module, STARLIMS Search, makes it possible to search data across all STARLIMS applications, using natural language.
Customers benefit from significant improvements in installation, integration and compatibility. Users have a smart new canvas, colors and iconography at their fingertips to configure and customize dashboards, and work more efficiently with multi-monitor and multi-browser support.
