Digital Roundtable Event – Why Legacy Systems Aren’t Suitable for Modern Biopharma

May 19 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

When – Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11am EST

Join us for an interesting roundtable discussion around why a legacy systems approach isn’t suitable for modern biopharma. Legacy systems don’t support the digital data backbone required for drug development and biopharma organizations have been resorting to customization because their needs aren’t being met by commercially available software. Experts from Astrix, Scitara and IDBS will share insight from experiences close to customers.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to avoid the pitfalls of a legacy systems approach
  • How to future-proof investment in a cloud-based platform to eliminate repetitive manual tasks and support efficient curation, storage and retrieval of experiment data
  • How automated workflow orchestration can enable a universally connected lab where no instrument, software or application is left behind
  • How drug development time can be dramatically reduced through data-driven insight in process design, scale up and technology transfer
