Invitation for Bid: Chemical Analysis of Atmospheric Pollutants PAHs and SVOCs

December 19 @ 3:00 pm

Solicitation #: 0000025179

The California Air Resources Board’s (CARB’s) “Study of Neighborhood Air near Petroleum Sources (SNAPS) is required to conduct air quality monitoring in communities near oil and gas fields. The goals of this study are to characterize ambient air quality near oil and gas production and identify emission sources that may be leading to elevated health risk. CARB’s Monitoring and Laboratory Division (MLD) will accomplish this by conducting limited-term monitoring of a comprehensive list of air pollutants, such as toxic compounds, methane, and particulate matter. The Contractor shall provide chemical analyses of ambient pollutants, including PAHs and SVOCs. CARB anticipates that 270 samples for chemical analyses of PAHs and SVOCs will be collected within the duration of this contract. A complete list of the analytes as well as more details can be found in the Scope of Work.”
