Request for Proposal: Environmental Laboratory Services

“The Town of Jupiter (Owner) is requesting proposals to provide laboratory services from qualified firms certified under the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) by the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) for the sampling and analysis of potable and non-potable water samples. The work as specified includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, equipment and/or materials necessary to complete field sampling and/or analysis of samples generated from both routine and non-routine Owner specific projects. Routine projects include field sampling and analysis of non-potable surface water samples from the C-18 Canal/Loxahatchee River; analysis of Owner-collected, groundwater samples in accordance with Palm Beach County (PBC) Department of Environmental Resource Management (DERM) Wellfield Operating Permit; analysis of Owner-collected groundwater samples in accordance with Article 15, Chapter B of Palm Beach County’s Unified Land Development Code (ECRII); analysis of Owner- collected potable drinking water samples in accordance with the Florida Department of Environmental Regulation (FDER) Ammonia Feed System Permit; analysis of Owner-collected potable, drinking water samples in accordance with Chapters 62-160 and 62-550 of the Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.). Owner may elect to include additional field sampling and/or analysis for the outlined projects beyond the proposed schedules, and other non-routine miscellaneous projects. The Town may enter into an agreement with one qualified firm. The initial term of the contract will be for one (1) year with the option to renew annually, by mutual agreement, for two (2) additional one (1) year terms for a total contract period of up to three (3) years.”
