Solicitation #: 0A1166
“The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) is seeking a web enabled, Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), configurable Laboratory Information Management system to improve the data flow in the ODH Laboratory (ODHL) and improve customer service by providing improved querying, reporting, web-based capabilities, and functionality which will allow ODHL to be able to respond to customer queries and needs in a timely manner. The proposed solution will facilitate the tracking of samples from arrival to completion.
The State is seeking an eLIMS solution that will allow for optimization of current technologies to advance the capabilities of Laboratory testing and reporting in Ohio. It will also allow for timely updates through a user interface that allows configurability. This will reduce the dependence on IT developers to make basic changes to the system such as field updates and overall reduce staff cost and lag time. Additionally, the updated technologies will improve system performance as the current Ohio Laboratory Information Technology System (LITS) system sits on an aging platform.
The proposed eLIMS solution may be a hosted solution or an on-premises solution.”
