The Denver Bureau of Reclamation, Department of the Interior has requirements for laboratory information management software. "Reclamation’s Concrete, Geotechnical and Structural Laboratory (CGSL) performs construction materials testing. Some projects have hundreds of specimens, making organization and tracking extremely difficult. A laboratory information management (LIM) software system and platform support is necessary for the CGSL to keep up with modern testing and reporting needs and to help better schedule and organize work."
"The CGSL is in need of a platform, designed specifically for a construction materials and geotechnical testing laboratory, to provide a system to manage projects and collect, organize, calculate and report materials testing data for concrete, grout, aggregate, soils, rock, masonry blocks and mortar, steel and other testing samples. The CGSL also needs, integrated into the LIM software, the capability of tracking personnel certifications, provide a readily accessible database of equipment documentation for tracking laboratory equipment/maintenance/ calibration dates; and the capability of producing reports that meet the CGSL needs for all of the above."
