Favor TechConsulting, LLC Awarded Task Orders on VA Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG): Laboratory Systems Re-Engineering Project (LSRP) Support…

VIENNA, Va., April 04, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC) — a leading provider of IT solutions to the federal government — announced today that it has been awarded two Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) multiple award Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) SDVOSB set-aside Task Orders, titled, “Laboratory Systems Re-engineering Project (LSRP) Support” and “LSRP Upgrade-VistA, Testing, and Project Support.”

FTC’s thirteenth awarded task order on T4NG was to provide LSRP VistA Testing and Project Support for the Huntington, West Virginia Alpha Site – which represents the VA’s first medical center implementation of the LSRP Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS.) In this work, FTC upgrades LSRP Lab VistA code, VistA Interfaces, and patches including downstream VistA components. In Agile fashion, FTC will also perform the testing and setup of the components of the system, including integration and software configuration. The FTC team will provide subject matter expertise (including on-site) to aid in basic COTS configuration and testing, and end-to-end testing analysis, training requirements, and updating or maintaining the system Authority To Operate (ATO), ultimately ensuring that the LSRP LIMS for the Alpha Site remains feasible.

On the fourteenth T4NG task order, the FTC team will provide capabilities and services for the LSRP including disaster recovery support, technical support, system security, network connectivity, application support requirements, testing, operations and maintenance, code review and fixes and transition support. Additionally, FTC will provide configuration management and 24/7/365 interface and product monitoring for Cerner’s Millennium PathNet solution, which serves as the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) LIMS.

The two latest task order awards add to FTC’s VistA Integration and agile software development and sustainment portfolio within VHA.  While the two awards were relatively small, they were both highly strategic with respect to providing VistA system integration support at the VA and partnering with an industry leading commercial Electronic Health Record (EHR) product vendor, Cerner.
