Good news all around. Obviously for Gaston, whose life was likely saved. But Big Tech’s fixation on disrupting healthcare will continue to produce innovations that should result in more dramatic change than the industry (and patients) have ever seen.

But he was very likely suffering from angina already ... he wasn’t able to to link this symptoms. Now this: the watch could even raise his level of health literacy which is a very important influence on outcome ... take the watch away and you have a patient with no clue at all... even without blocked arteries there is still an accountable effect on the outcome that can be attributed to the watch: he is in charge! But i believe people need the big stories to listen up ...
