iMDsoft Adds Mobile Front End for the MetaVision Clinical Information System

PARIS–()–iMDsoft®, a leader in clinical information systems, announced that MetaVision® now offers a mobile front end. Using this new functionality, doctors and nurses can remotely track patient status, manage medications and review open tasks. The mobile front end is being introduced to the French market first and is available for the latest version of MetaVision.

The mobile front end includes capabilities designed to help increase patient care and streamline clinical workflow, such as:

  • Viewing and validating of alerts
  • Medication management
  • Multi-patient overview, personal patient list and task list
  • Barcode support
  • Charts and assessments

Clinicians now have secure access to MetaVision from the device of their choice: the mobile front end can be used on iOS, Android and Windows smartphones and tablets. SSL encryption and Active Directory authentication provide additional layers of security. The mobile front end enables access from outside the hospital as well, if hospital policy permits.

MetaVision generates complete and accurate electronic medical records and includes advanced tools for clinical assessment, treatment and care planning. Advanced decision support options promote the delivery of best practices, protocols and regulatory requirements. MetaVision provides the specialised functionality required for critical care and anaesthesia environments. The system offers workflow coverage across the entire continuum of care, maintaining a single patient record throughout ICUs, pre-op units, ORs, recovery units and general wards.

“In today’s world, patient care has to move beyond the bedside,” said Eran David, CTO of iMDsoft. “By adding a mobile front end to MetaVision, we are giving clinicians another channel to do their jobs effectively from any location.”

Come see the MetaVision Clinical Information System in action at SFAR, September 21st to 23rd, Booth 96.
