Summary

Description
English: This is a plot of the gamma macroscopic cross

section (aka the absorption coefficient) of aluminum. The microscopic cross sections are from ENDF/B-VII.0. To compute the atomic number density, the density of aluminum was taken as 2.70 g/cm^3, and the atomic weight was 26.9815 g/mole. I produced the plot using

matplotlib.
