English: Making a 3D-model of an Viking belt buckle using a hand held VIUscan 3D laser scanner. As the device uses a laser scanner to create a 3D model it also uses a camera to accurately texture map the object.

Original Flickr description: This 3D-file is the result of a project in which a 1000-year-old Viking belt buckle was laser scanned and 3D printed to achieve a copy of the unique archaeological artifact.
