PM of Equatorial Guinea

So where exactly is your source to say the PM isn't the head of government? Just curious Snickers2686 (talk) 15:37, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's a presidential republic, the standard in those systems is that the president is both head of state and head of government. Most presidential republics with women PMs are featured on the List of elected or appointed female deputy heads of government article, the PM of Equatorial Guinea herself is even already included on that list, as they serve beneath the president. If there is a source that explains how Equatorial Guinea runs counter to the expected organization of presidential republics, then I'm all ears, there are examples of countries like that, but assuming a PM in Equatorial Guinea is a deputy head of government rather than a head of government is just going along with the standard of what we expect of a presidential republic, much like how we know a prime minister in a parliamentary system is a head of government unless somehow explained otherwise. In fact, this line is already mentioned in the article: The prime ministers of Equatorial Guinea, Namibia, Peru, and Uganda are included in the list of elected or appointed female deputy heads of government but not in the list of elected or appointed female deputy heads of state, as they are neither heads of government, nor deputy heads of state due to the existence of the office of vice president in these countries, whereas the prime ministers of South Korea are included in both of those lists. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 16:02, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Clémence Botino

Hi, your edit summary[1] of Clémence Botino "Yes it did --- she missed most of the pageant events due to being quarantined" is not substantiated by the article text or the two citations provided. Please add it to the article body, and provide an appropriate citation (per WP:BURDEN) otherwise this is just another person catching covid, which in itself is not notable and will be removed. Regarding a new section called Gallery of contestants at Miss Universe articles

Hello @Jjj1238! I wish to know your opinion regarding a new section called "Gallery of contestants" at Miss Universe articles and Miss World articles. I've created a topic regarding the matter at the talk page of Miss Universe 2023 although I do not know if that is the right place to add that topic. Thank you! Beauty Pageant Articles Massacre

Hello Jjj1238 as a Wikipedian, i worked for a little over a decade on articles about beauty pageants, I have noticed that this Wikipedian called Bri has been carrying out a great massacre on articles from Miss USA / Universe / Teen USA / World etc. I don't understand the reasons, with the help of this other Wikipedian talk they have ended up with good articles when, if necessary, they could only add a reference. I feel that her intentions, rather than contributing to Wikipedia, are bad and disastrous or a hatred of beauty pageants. I would like to know your opinion since I even noticed that she intended to "educate you", according to her on her wall. Thank you! Evanex (talk) 02:48, 09 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Evanex: I agree, but there is really not much we can do if she is not willing to cooperate with us. It's not like she's breaking rules, she's just not being very accommodating to those of us who would rather improve articles than tear them apart. I unfortunately do not have much time to fix all the havoc she's wrecked, but if you want to help, in my last message to her on her talk page, I provided sources for the articles that she removed results tables from. If you have any time, you could restore the results tables to those articles with the sources I provided. I would do it but I just don't have much time to commit to Miss USA articles anymore, especially edits of this stature. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 22:54, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Need help

Hi, Jji128 I need your help to the article I created to be searchable throughout Wikipedia and Google and this are Villaflores College Diaz College and lastly Tanjay National High School because as of now only page Kevin Balot, Anabel Payano and more...that is searchable on Wikipedia and Google automatically. Thank you Rc ramz (talk) 09:00, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Rc ramz: If the article exists, it will be searchable. You may just need to wait a bit and give the system some time to update. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 11:05, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocking of my account and my IP address

Good evening @Jjj1238, I'm taking the liberty of contacting you because my France-Pt9301 Wikipedia account and IP address were first unblocked for 72 hours because I made changes to various articles (Miss France, the Vatican and the French language) by not providing enough sources or by doing it badly, and I got involved in an editing war. Then I was blocked permanently because I made an edit on the Miss France 2023 article concerning the location of the election while I was blocked (although I had OhnotitsJamie's agreement before editing and I was blocked because I would have tried to get around the block). I'll explain myself point by point on each subject: First of all, concerning the status of French in the Vatican, I added the information that French is an official language of the Vatican because the sources I found indicate that it is one of the official languages. Other Internet users have quoted me sources indicating that only Latin and Italian are official, and since the sources disagree, I shouldn't add French without prior discussion. But out of chauvinism, no doubt, and also because I was stubbornly convinced I was right, I systematically postponed my change. I shouldn't have done that, and I apologize. As far as Miss France is concerned, I added Thierry Baumann as a presenter because he is described as such by various French media but I understand that since he only appears at the end of the evening, some may not consider him a presenter and I apologize for adding my modification again and participating in an editing war, I won't do it again and will exchange with other Internet users on the page in the future. As for the location of the Miss France 2023 and Miss France 2018 elections, both events were held at the M.A.CH 36 venue in Déols, as confirmed by numerous sources and the venue's official website. It's fine if we put "in Déols, north of Châteauroux" so that readers can find their way around more easily, but the name Déols must appear to be geographically correct. Overall, I would like to apologize for my behavior. I realized that he was anti-collaborative and that he was not the best and intends in the future to participate in a collaborative manner with other Internet users, and to debate with them if one of my modifications makes debate. It is for this reason that I am sending you this email to ask you for tolerance and to unblock my France-Pt9301 account and my IP address or forward my request to people who can act (I am writing to you in your user page because I can no longer write on my discussion page having been blocked in modification and gives you at the end of the message my IP address, my blocking number and the sources for the M.A.CH 36 room where the elections of Miss France 2023 and Miss France 2018 were held). I thank you for taking the time to read my message and hope for action on your part.

sincerely France-Pt9301 ( PS: To answer your question, even though I'm a big fan of the Miss France contest 🇫🇷, it wasn't me who made the changes to Eva Colas)

Accidental removed or purposely remove

Hey!! Sorry to bother but I saw the page at List of Miss Universe titleholders and realize there's something missing, and based on what I saw on your contribution (sorry I lurk), did you purposely remove the Continents by number of wins section or it was an accidental removed? I mean, other titleholders page still there. If it was accidental, I can volunteer to add it back! Thanks and mabuhay! Cornerstone2.0 (talk) 15:44, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is original research and fancruft, so yes, I removed it and do not believe it should be added back. We do not need charts of excessive detail that will only appeal to the biggest of fans, plus continental definitions differ according to different cultures. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 18:37, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bonjour,

Geeko972 (talk) 15:08, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Iran or Persia for Miss Universe 2024?

Hello @Jjj1238! I have made a discussion about the use of "Persia" or "Iran" in the aforementioned article. Iran will debut at Miss Universe, but the candidate will use the name "Persia" in the competition as the Iranian government disallowed the Miss Persia Organization to use "Iran" for their candidate at Miss Universe due to religious beliefs. The problem now arises as the users switch Persia to Iran and vice-versa. Would you give your take on this at the talk page? It would be greatly appreciated if you do so. Thank you!
