Nathaniel Akinremi Fadipe(history · last edit · rewrite) from [1] - pretty blatant copy-pasting or very close paraphrasing, e.g. "His doctoral thesis, "The Sociology of the Yoruba", was completed in 1939. However, it was not published until 1970 by Ibadan University Press, when it became a well-respected resource on the Yoruba people and their cultural practices, as well as Nigerian history during the colonial era". Comment: As the article creator, I have attempted a rewrite of this. Thank you, and sorry for the inconvenience. —AFreshStart (talk) 20:13, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. @AFreshStart: please be honest about your actions in the future. I see no rewrite, only a pagemove. Sennecaster (Chat) 23:02, 14 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Sennecaster: I was not being dishonest; here is the rewrite of the article I was referring to. —🎄☃️❄️ Season's greetings from AFreshStart (talk) ❄️☃️🎄 23:08, 14 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
AFreshStart Oh, thanks for pointing me that way! I completely forgot about the rewrite tab due to it being used so little. I have read through your rewrite, and I think that there is still too close of paraphrasing. The sections that can be merged as is right now, and I believe an admin will need to help me, are the Early life and Death sections. The rest are too similar in structure and wording to the source. Backwardscopy. Tag and explanation placed at talk page. The source of the article says that the earliest contribution was added in March of 2009. All of the text itself was added before mid-February 2009, making me strongly believe that this is a reverse copy. Sennecaster (Chat) 05:39, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
