Frankly, I cannot blame them but the new generation of Open Source Software is not your old fashioned Hippie, Commie movement but a viable, quality driven, sustainable business model that is entering the mainstream of business.

What is a Web Hosted (SaaS) LIMS & is it right for your lab? Simply put, a web hosted or SaaS LIMS is a (Laboratory Information Management System) that is a licensed, web hosted subscription that is paid for on a low monthly or annual fee basis as opposed to a customer, on-site installed, lump sum license purchase. Using Document control software to comply with ISO requirements

The objective of a document control software system is to make sure that good manufacturing methods are recorded and improved on. ISO standards require that the process and the documentation directing the manufacturing methods, and any changes to them, are restricted to authorised personnel with any changes recorded for future examination. Therefore ISO certified organisations are required to have a system for controlling the changes to their documents.
