    Since 1985 BIOTECHNICA HANNOVER has been the most important trade show in Europe for biotechnology. In 2001 the event registered impressive increases in both exhibitor and visitor numbers. 1,071 exhibitors from 28 countries provided 13,167 professional visitors from 33 countries with information about the latest developments in the field. The exhibition covered a display area which had grown by about 40%. And the trend is still positive.
