    The return of EAS to Somerset in 2002 was a welcomed homecoming. We will remain in Somerset for 2003, and for the future. I was very pleased with the 2002 Symposium and Exposition. The exhibitors provided an outstanding venue for evaluating new instruments and acquiring technical product information and our technical sessions, short courses and workshops truly delivered on the promise of "providing practical solutions to our analytical chemistry problems." On a personal note, I was also very pleased with the opportunity of seeing old friends, colleagues and acquaintances and value the new friendships that were initiated. It was truly a homecoming!.
