Labware LIMS consultant
Q. What is the job description?
The individual will be responsible to support strategic lab informatics projects for Pharmaceutical and Biotech customers. He or she will leverage technical and scientific knowledge to drive projects. Shall work with Business Users / Lab users / Managers / Technical stakeholders of Customers in conjunction with the internal Zifo team.
Q. What are the job responsibilities?
» LIMS engineer possessing expert knowledge in LabWare. Has good knowledge on ELN/LES, Workflow configuration, Customization, Calculations, Jasper Reporting, Groovy
» Possesses expert technical knowledge including understanding of the architecture, databases, and database concepts on Java technologies (Java, Jscript), SQL, Proprietary scripting languages of the products etc.
» Works independently on configuring / upgrading LIMS, add-ons / plug-ins to existing platforms / computer systems by adequately considering aspects like business impact, regulations etc.
» Understands customer needs, provides inputs on solutions. Builds confidence with the customer by demonstrating knowledge on LabWare, domain and industry, suggests solutions, responds to new requirements and acts as a consultant.
» Devises strategy for solutions by exploring unknowns and bringing in a structure, troubleshoots issues and supports the Delivery team as a SME.
» Explores a new area and brings clarity to define, train and set it up for the team. Creates delivery accelerators and automation tools. Acts as an evangelist for defining and institutionalizing best practices for design. Provides inputs to come up with estimates and proposal for a work product / project.
» Understands the impact of Regulations on systems and proactively considers controls to be in-built in a GxP environment.
» Ensures completeness and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
Q. What is the eligibility criteria?
» 5+ years of relevant experience
» Ability to quickly switch between bird’s eye view and detailed analysis
» Passion and Ability to learn and work with new applications
» Must have UG/PG graduation in Life Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics with consistent academic record of more than 70% in 10th, 12th, UG, PG
» Knowledge about QC labs (Good to have)
