“Laboratory testing and analyses are requested by [Santa Clara Valley Water District in California] for purposes of compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and special projects. Valley Water is required to perform a variety of analytical tests to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. The successful Contract Laboratory shall submit current accreditation by the State Water Resources Control Board Division of Drinking Water (DDW) Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) and provide laboratory testing and analyses with the specifications listed herein. The Laboratory shall provide testing services in accordance with this Agreement. All tests shall be performed with the degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised under similar circumstances by reputable similar laboratories and using standard test procedures and laboratory protocols. Attached is a list of water quality tests Valley Water requires (Attachment A). The list may change depending on regulatory, statutory, or other changes.”
