Alabama’s Water Environment Association (AWEA)
Alabama’s Water Environment Association (AWEA) is a service organization providing information and education for industrial environmental issues including air, water and solid waste. Members of AWEA include environmental professionals, municipal system operators, industrial operators, environmental engineers, state regulators and other individuals in environmental occupations.
AWEA offers a variety of seminars, conferences, workshops and briefings to help members develop technical, management and leadership skills while earning CEUs/PDHs. AWEA’s Annual Technical Conference has become well known and highly respected in the industry for providing timely information and education to the over 400 water pollution control professionals, exhibitors, speakers, regulatory personnel, educators and consultants who attend.
AWEA is a non-profit affiliate organization of the Water Environment Federation (WEF).
