The Louisiana Water Environment Association (LWEA), a member association of the Water Environment Federation (WEF), is an open organization dedicated to the protection, promotion and enhancement of the water environment through: meeting the needs of our members for professional growth and development; and sharing information, expertise and resources with our members, the public and others on water environment issues
Goals
Attract and retain an active and diverse membership Identify and serve the needs of our members. Attract, develop and retain diverse, motivated and effective association leadership. Increase public awareness of the LWEA, environmental professionalism and water environment issues. Encourage working relations with the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and other member associations (MA’s) and other organizations that have compatible goals. Maintain an efficient administration and a sound fiscal program .
