SCITEGIC’S PIPELINE PILOT CHOSEN FOR CHEMINFORMATICS APPLICATIONS AT NOVARTIS INSTITUTES FOR BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH
SAN DIEGO, CA January 16, 2004 – SciTegic®, Inc. today announced the sale and installation of Pipeline PilotTM to Novartis Pharma AG for use by researchers in the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR). The Pipeline Pilot software system employs a novel approach to processing drug discovery data through flexible automated pipelines for faster data processing and analysis. The result of a collaborative licensing agreement, Pipeline Pilot is now being used by NIBR scientists around the world to accelerate their drug discovery research.
