Ariadne Genomics, Inc. announced the selection of its MedScan TextMiner software by Genstruct Inc. (Cambridge, MA) as an aid in the development of their Molecular Epistemics™ discovery platform. MedScan TextMiner enables automated extraction of biological facts from scientific literature. Genstruct will use this software to improve the efficiency and output of their Knowledge Assembly™ process, which results in precise, logical models of biology that are used to identify compound mechanism of action (MOA) and disease mechanisms.
