Sirius Analytical Instruments has been appointed European distributor of ADME Boxes, a software product from Canadian-based software developer, Pharma Algorithms.

Pharma Algorithms is a provider of software tools for the development and distribution of computational algorithms and ADME/Tox screens. The company works with pharmaceutical research organizations world-wide to fully utilize their in-house data and develop unique predictive solutions.

ADME Box predictors are desktop software modules for molecular discovery, providing innovative prediction tools and impressive database for oral bioavailablity, P-gp specificity, solubility, solute properties, and ionisation.

One of the modules is the new Absolv, the improved and enhanced version of Sirius Absolv, designed to calculate molecular properties using the principles introduced by Professor Michael H. Abraham of University College London.

  • Straightforward and browser-like interface
  • Reference Compound Dictionary – search or enter a chemical name to calculate properties for reference structure
  • Instantly display a look-up of up to 5 of the most similar structures from training set with literature data and references
  • Provide no-nonsense reliability estimates for all calculations in the form of either a confidence interval or a summary of how the algorithm performed the calculation
  • All single structure calculations are available in batch mode from Batch Calculations module

Most ADME Boxes modules combine several independent models which, along with experimental data for the most similar compounds, seek to provide maximum information for the decision, a consensus of all the results being a good suggestion that it would be the right one
