Eksigent Announces ExpressLC-100 Integration With Major Mass Spec Software Platforms; Control Software v. 2.06 Now Integrates with Xcalibur and Analyst 1.4.1

Eksigent Technologies announces new drivers for its ExpressLC(TM) Control Software v. 2.06 that integrate seamlessly with Thermo Electron’s Xcalibur and Applied Biosystems/MDS SCIEX’s Analyst 1.4.1 mass spectrometer platforms. The new software drivers allow users to operate the ExpressLC-100 and the mass spectrometer as one integrated system. This integrated control capability improves overall system reliability, ease of use and data integrity.

The ExpressLC is a fully integrated HPLC system that combines advances in gradient delivery, sample injection and optical detection to deliver high speed and resolution. The system’s proprietary microfluidic technology enables sample throughput that is six times higher than conventional HPLC. Optimized for 300 micron i.d. columns, the system has much shorter cycle times than conventional HPLC systems. The ExpressLC-100 is ideal for applications that require fast, reproducible, high-resolution HPLC and LC-MS, such as ADMETox screening and metabolomics.

“Users are increasingly looking for integrated LC-MS solutions,” explained Phil DeLand, Product Manager for Eksigent. “The introduction of these new drivers allows the ExpressLC-100 to operate seamlessly with industry-leading mass spectrometers.”
