PerkinElmer and Nonlinear Dynamics Expand Agreement To Provide Comprehensive Proteomics Solutions
PerkinElmer, Inc., a global leader in health sciences, and Nonlinear Dynamics Ltd. (NLD), a leading provider of proteomics image analysis software and bioinformatics tools, today announced the signing of an expanded partnership agreement to develop and market application-driven proteomics solutions. Under the new global agreement, PerkinElmer will offer to its customers NLD’s complete line of proteomics software, including its ProMST mass spectrometry bioinformatics package and Progenesis image analysis software to complement PerkinElmer’s high-content proteomics instrumentation platforms, such as the novel prOTOF™ 2000 MALDI-TOF orthogonal mass spectrometer and ProXPRESS state-of-the-art imaging platform. In addition, the two companies have agreed to collaborate closely on the development of new proteomics software solutions, combining NLD’s expertise in data analysis with PerkinElmer’s novel, high-tech solutions in imaging and detection and mass spectrometry.
