Fully Integrated LIMS Interfacing for Chromeleon CDS
Labtronics Inc. is pleased to announce that the upcoming release of LimsLink CDS will introduce a seamless, embedded LIMS interface for Chromeleon CDS that lets analysts interact directly with their LIMS, without having to leave their CDS client.
The LimsLink CDS embedded interface is easy for analysts to work with, as there is no additional software for them to learn. Training requirements are minimal so analysts quickly realize the benefits of eliminating manual interaction with LIMS.
Analysts working in their Chromeleon client simply click on the new ‘Create Sequence’ button on the Chromeleon toolbar to automatically create complete Chromeleon sequences from LIMS worklists. This direct interface speeds up setup time and eliminates the possibility of samples being missed due to setup errors.
Sample results are sent to LIMS using regular Chromeleon reporting procedures. There are no new procedures to learn, no time spent on manual data transfer and no data entry errors – results go directly into the LIMS, as soon as the report is ready.
The new LimsLinkCDS embedded interface for Chromeleon is part of the upcoming LimsLink CDS release that also includes Labtronics popular embedded interfaces for Empower, ChemStation Plus and TotalChrom.
