AACC Announces Record Breaking Annual Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo
Washington, DC, September 10, 2010 With the final count completed, the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) announces that its 2010 Annual Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo on July 25 – 29 in Anaheim, CA, was the largest ever with over 21,000 attendees. This represents an increase of more than 17% over the 2009 Annual Meeting in Chicago and almost 13% over the average attendance in 2005 – 2009. The 2010 Clinical Lab Expo also attracted the largest number of exhibiting companies, over 700, in the most booths ever, over 1,950.
The 2010 attendance and exhibitor figures continue to reinforce AACC’s Annual Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo as the premier event worldwide for clinical laboratory professionals. Confirming AACC’s position, the Healthcare Convention and Exhibitors Association recently placed AACC’s 2009 meeting at #19 in its Top 50 medical meetings held in the United States that year.
