CLSI to Launch New Membership Categories for 2013

CLSI to Launch New Membership Categories for 2013 Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA-December 2012-Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) is set to introduce new membership categories for the coming year. The new structure will offer “more options, more benefits, and more value” to members starting January 1, 2013.

CLSI membership is a unique opportunity to connect with laboratory health care professionals around the world on the development and implementation of globally applicable standards and guidelines. The Membership team has been hard at work to ensure that the value and available options fully reflect the needs of CLSI members. After months of collaboration with members, the Board of Directors, and staff, the Membership team has revamped its categories.

The new membership levels-Tier I, II, and III-allow members to choose a level based on the needs of their organization. Along with these category changes, members will enjoy increased access to standards-through print, electronic, and online options. Discounts and pricing to fit distinct needs on standards will range from 50% to 70% depending on the chosen membership level.

Other enhanced benefits include electronic access to all documents, and, for some levels, free companion products, shipping, and educational programs. A notable addition is the option for CLSI supporters who do not work for a member organization to join CLSI as individual members. This opportunity will increase the volunteering and networking opportunities that have always been and will continue to be key advantages of a CLSI membership.

Join the experts from industry, government, and laboratory health care professions today. Your voice will be heard as you collaborate to solve common laboratory testing challenges and ensure that the standards and guidelines set forth by CLSI are balanced, practical, and achievable by all.
