HT/HTL HISTOTECHNOLOGIST (DAYS)

Lighthouse Recruiting is representing a mid-size hospital near Abilene, TX, that is hiring a histotechnologist with good leadership skills to work on the day shift. This position may also offer the opportunity over the long term to move into a supervisory role.
As a histotechnologist in this hospital setting, you will have the opportunity to perform all of the regular duties associated with histotechnology including – but not necessarily limited to – cutting, grossing, embedding, staining of human tissue samples for analysis. In this role you will be reporting to the histology supervisor.

Basic Preferred Profile
- Associate's degree or higher in Histology, Medical Lab Science, or similar life science.
- Completion of an accredited histotechnologist training program.
- HTL or HT certification (ASCP) strongly preferred
- 2+ years prior experience as a histotechnologist in a clinical setting
Salary and benefits
- $22 – $27 per hour (based on experience)
