LIS Integration Engineer

Lighthouse Recruiting is representing a well known health system in the suburbs of Chicago, IL that is looking to bring on a LIS Integration Engineer to join their growing team.
The LIS Integration Engineer will have the opportunity to support new and existing system development, integration, and maintenance for multiple care centers across the health system. This position requires a skilled professional who can apply their extensive knowledge of existing multi-platform systems to effectively troubleshoot test codes, install interfaces and lead the development and implementation of LIS computer system projects. Additionally, the Engineer will have the chance to execute multiple priority projects while maintaining existing systems.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Multi-platform Application Support
- Clinical Test Order and Result Coding
- System Tools, Reporting
- Communication between LIS Staff, Health System Departments,and End Users
Basic Preferred Profile:
- BS in Computer Science or Equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in a healthcare IT or LIS environment
- Knowledge of server and server configuration
- VBA and SQL preferred
- Basic knowledge of Medical Technology preferred
- Experience with EPIC preferred
