LIMS .NET Developer
Program Description
LIMS is a Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) application which is designed to accommodate on going changes in requirements and business processes. This highly configurable system allows the Food & Drug Administration Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) to have the flexibility for a foundation that is more accommodating for the transition to high throughput processes and laboratory optimization efforts. LIMS provides a granular look at the work performed at each site and allows for a robust set of data to aid in decision making for optimization efforts not only for ORA but for each individual site and groups within the sites.
Qualified candidate must have or can attain a Public Trust clearance.
Roles and Responsibilities
-Provide day to day technical support and development for a STARLIMS .NET implementation.
-Assist with development and configuration of STARLIMS.
-Analyze user needs to determine functional requirements
-Perform analysis, design, development, testing and debugging of .NET applications.
-Requirements analysis, software design and implementation, system troubleshooting, and technical support
-Participate and contribute to periodic maintenance software release in accordance with established project standards and processes
Requirements
-Experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET MVC (Model View Controller),
-Experience with Entity Framework (EF) for ADO.NET
-Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
-Experience with LIMS (STARLIMS preferred)
-Familiar with Open XML SDK for Office
-Ability to work as part of a local or geographically dispersed team
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with 5 years of professional experience
