Support Scientist
The Support Scientist provides pre- and post-sale technical assistance, troubleshooting and product recommendations to both internal and external customers via phone and email. Essential Responsibilities Duties include (but are not limited to):
•Answer incoming technical inquiries from customers via telephone and email.
•Participate in product training and activities to develop their knowledge, use databases to access product information, log customer feedback, report quality issues and suggest product and process improvements.
•Participate in activities such as developing and delivering technical training, reviewing product literature, field and lab work, trade shows and system installations.
Quality Specific Goals:
•Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
•Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
•Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
•Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
•Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or Chemical/Biochemical Engineering or related field
•Minimum of 3 years lab experience with cell culture or protein purification technologies…cont.
