Summary/Objective: 
The Global Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategy and execution of marketing activities across WPI markets to develop compelling value for the customer and brand recognition.

• Work closely with the commercial teams to Identify and address opportunities within multiple vertical markets by applying a multi-channel campaign approach. 
• Identify new business opportunities in market sub-segments and/or workflow (product) gaps; recommend strategies and through drive commercial ownership. 
• Develop strategic marketing programs & processes that drive demand globally and deliver the strategic direction and plans to meet financial commitments through an integrated customer, brand, category, and route-to-market strategy for each key market segment. 
• Promote products from across the company, creating a whole of business Value Proposition. 
• Work closely with the Product Management/Technical Sales Support Specialists for relevant and timely input to campaigns. 
• Enable and empower all sales teams both internal and external, by providing relevant sales tools, training and motivation to sell the entire portfolio. 
• Maintain and develop processes for campaign management including calendar of events, promotional schedules, and output schedules for collateral and reporting of results. 
• Oversee all aspects of marketing campaigns, which may include product introduction, trade show management, training and educational opportunities. 
• Maintain a keen focus on expense control and ROI.

Requirements: 

Requirements/Qualifications: 

• Substantial experience in a lead generation marketing role in a comparable market segment. 
• Experience in marketing B2B and through direct sales and distributor networks. 
• Demonstration of having developed targeted value proposition campaigns including mechanisms for reporting ROI. 
• High level of familiarity and competence in computer use; specifically the Microsoft Office suite of applications – Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. 
• Continuous Improvement mindset. 

Positon Type/Hours of Work: 
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand. 

Work Environment: 
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Travel: 
Occasional out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. 

Required Education/Experience: 
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, physics, engineering or a comparable scientific/engineering degree. Experience marketing to scientific researchers or equivalent experience in marketing roles for a Scientific Company.
