Laboratory Information Systems Technician
As a Laboratory Information Systems Technician, you will perform the following duties:
- Perform, collect, maintain and interpret quality control data to insure accurate patient test results.
- Perform routine and complex testing of patient specimens.
- Develop procedures, guides, checklists, documented resolution of trouble calls and all other documentation needed to facilitate management of assigned systems.
- Manage the daily operation of all laboratory information systems (LIS) programs and database applications.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a medical or clinical laboratory assistant program.
- At least 2 years experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician Specialist
- Preferred completion of a Medical Laboratory Technician certification.
- Certification in at least one of the following categories: A+, Security +, or Network +
- Experience with the following equipment:
- Composite Health Care System
- Blood Management Blood Bank Transfusion Service
- Computerized Pathology
- Remote Automated Laboratory Systems-Plus
- FileNet–Data Innovations Inc-Instrument Manager
