Abbott Informatics Updates the STARLIMS Content Library with New Mobile Apps and a Redesigned User Interface
Hollywood, FL., February 09, 2017 – Abbott Informatics announced today the release of new Mobile apps and a redesigned user interface for the STARLIMS Content Library. Launched last year, the STARLIMS Content Library allows customers to discover new content for STARLIMS, and enhances the value of add-on products such as Advanced Analytics and Mobile. The new Mobile apps in this release include:
- QM Results Entry by Sample – enter results for samples on mobile devices
- QM Folder Login – log folders and record sample metadata in the field, even while offline
- QM Inventory – perform inventory transactions in the warehouse
- Forensics Case Search – search through a database of cases and see case progress
- User Management – manage user accounts including unlocking accounts and resetting passwords
The STARLIMS Mobile solution enables laboratory personnel to access information or enter data on a mobile device, increasing the efficiency of workflow tasks which need to be performed while away from the computer. The new apps are designed with a modern theme and a focus on improved user experience.
Today’s release also includes a redesigned user interface for the Content Library, with a focus on improved user experience. The new design includes a cleaner, simpler look and improved navigation. The Content Library provides a great way for customers to explore new dashboards or mobile apps, including viewing video tutorials, screenshots and in some cases interacting with live demos.
Complementary access is available to all current Abbott Informatics customers through the Abbott Informatics Zendesk Customer Support Portal. Installing dashboards or mobile apps requires the necessary STARLIMS licenses.
