Accelrys Announces Comprehensive, Multi-Year Agreements with Several Industry-Leading Pharmaceutical Companies
Accelrys, Inc., including its wholly owned subsidiary, Scitegic, Inc., announced today that it entered into a number of comprehensive, multi-year agreements with some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies during its third fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2005. These multi-year agreements, which include licenses for the Company’s industry-leading computational science software and informatics platform, have durations of two to five years and represent an aggregate dollar value of $29 million over the term of the agreements. This amount represents the highest aggregate dollar value ever attributable to multi-year agreements signed by the Company in any single fiscal quarter in the Company’s history.
