AfterGlow Technologies Opens Photoluminescent Quality Testing Lab

Furthering its leadership in photoluminescent systems technology and installation, AfterGlow Technologies, the commercial division of Noesis, Inc., announced today the opening of its Quality Assurance Testing Laboratory. This first-of-its-kind facility provides AfterGlow with an in-house capability to test high-performance photoluminescent materials and convert them into customized products for customers.

The 9,000 square foot industrial lab, formerly a U.S. Navy research facility, is located across from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. The facility includes auto-CAD capabilities and software that will enable AfterGlow to create custom designed shapes for photoluminescent markings and custom-made cut, peel and stick photoluminescent material, as well as extensive printing capabilities of photoluminescent materials.

“Engineering and technology expertise have always been critical to AfterGlow’s success,” explained Richard Martin, Chairman of AfterGlow Technologies. “Therefore, we felt it was necessary to add a research and development capability to help us improve current initiatives and better prepare us for future growth.”

Martin went on to add, “Our new light lab allows us to test various photoluminescent materials to determine the best products in the market. The state-of-the-art equipment also helps us convert and modify products to meet the specialized needs of our customers.”
