ARAMARK Launches Cleanroom Industry’s First Web-Based Garment Tracking System
ARAMARK Cleanroom Services, a subsidiary of ARAMARK Uniform Services, introduced CleanTrak, the first web-based system for tracking cleanroom garments. With CleanTrak, ARAMARK’s customers, including those in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or microelectronics industry, can now access important garment information through the web. By scanning a barcode attached to each garment, customers can track the wear history, cleaning cycle and location of each garment at all times.
To comply with cleanroom standards and regulations, each cleanroom garment goes through a vigorous cleaning process. This cleaning process can wear down a garment and increase the risk of contamination. With CleanTrak, customers can monitor their garments’ cleaning and determine when a garment should be replaced. By monitoring each individual garment, the risk of cross contamination is reduced.
