Arch Chemicals Named to Information Week 500 List for Innovative Use of Information Technology

Arch Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:ARJ) announced that it was named to CMP Media LLC’s Information Week 500, a prestigious listing of the most innovative and productive users of information technology (IT) in the United States. Arch ranked sixth among the 15 American chemical companies recognized for IT innovation in 2004.

The list identifies those organizations that exhibited best practices in a number of critical areas, including information technology productivity and measurement systems, cutting-edge technologies, IT spending as a percentage of overall sales, improvement tactics and IT staffing practices.
