Ardent Mills Case Study Demonstrates Ease of LIMS Implementation
Autoscribe Informatics is pleased to release a new LIMS case study in conjunction with North America’s leading flour supplier and grain innovator, Ardent Mills. The Matrix Gemini Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) took just 6 months to implement and is now being used across the three laboratories in its Denver-based Innovation Center. The LIMS has not only improved the efficiency of sample management and tracking within the laboratories but is feeding information into the company’s data warehouse to facilitate key business decisions.

Autoscribe worked closely with Ardent Mills throughout the project to understand their requirements and deliver a configured solution for their defined needs. Professional services were provided by Autoscribes’s own team, prompting the customer to state “the Autoscribe skill set is excellent. The team was both articulate and professional, making the communication really good.”
As well as significantly improved sample management and tracking, Matrix Gemini LIMS allows the laboratories to provide a better service to the mills. An additional major benefit comes from importing the Matrix Gemini data into a central data warehouse where it is used in conjunction with other organizational data to drive business analytics and enhance commercial understanding.
“We are pleased to have worked with Ardent Mills to deploy LIMS into their Laboratories in Denver, Colorado,” said Tim Daniels, Marketing Manager, Autoscribe Informatics. “They are just one of a growing number of US Companies in the food and beverage sector to choose the highly configurable Matrix Gemini LIMS for their needs. The solution was deployed in just six months, helped by a well-developed user requirements specification, and Matrix Gemini’s drag and drop configuration tools that allow rapid implementation of the functionality within the system.”
