Associate Scientist
A growing Pharmaceutical company in Miami, FL is looking for an Analytical Chemist to join it's Product Development Team for a 1 year contract.
Pay Rate: $20.00- $25.00 per hour based on experience.
TITLE: ANALYTICAL CHEMIST-Pharmaceutical
Analyze samples from assigned projects. Assist in the development and validation of analytical methods for potency, dosage uniformity, and stability testing of transdermal products. Support R&D testing. Perform other duties and special projects as required.
Essential Duties
- Perform HPLC, GC and Physical testing; make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results.
- Assist in the development and validation of analytical methods.
- Analyze product release and routine stability samples.
- Participate in method transfers to the Quality Control Department.
- Calibrate analytical instrumentation at scheduled intervals.
- Prepare technical reports, summaries and quantitative analyses.
- Maintain familiarity with current scientific literature and trends.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices in the laboratory.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Must have at least 1-3 years experience working in a Pharmaceutical Lab, GLP experience
- HPLC method development/validation/transfer
- Experience with pharmaceutical product development
- Empower experience preferred
