Autoscribe announces Biobank data management seminars in the UK

Autoscribe has invited a number of biobanking experts to share their views and experiences on how to meet compliance regulations yet retain the flexibility to meet individual application requirements at three seminars to be held in the UK. These free, full-day seminars will be held in London on 7th March, Manchester on 12th March and Edinburgh on 23rd April. These seminars will be of particular interest to anyone involved in biobanks in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical research.
With the increasing number of biobank applications, the ability to manage an ever increasing number of bio-samples (blood, tissue, DNA etc.) and to comply with the regulatory requirements, such as HTA, GCLP, MHRA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and other similar requirements, is a high priority for many organisations. Biobank management systems are frequently built from Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) but need to be configured to deliver a solution that meets the specific requirements in a clearly understandable way.
Dr Rod Westrop, CEO, Genesis Life Science Business Consultancy and Dr Mike Watts, Director Wolfson Cellular Therapy Unit, UCLH will join experts from Autoscribe and guest speakers to present lively and informative seminars which will highlight real-world biobank data management experiences. A full seminar programme and on-line registration form can be found at: www.autoscribe.co.uk/workshops/biobank-management-seminars . Early registration is recommended, as places are limited.
