Autoscribe Demonstrates Matrix Gemini LIMS v6.0 at Lab Innovations
Celebrating 40 years in business this year, Autoscribe Informatics will be demonstrating Matrix Gemini LIMS v6.0 at the UK’s largest dedicated exhibition for laboratory professionals, Lab Innovations. V6.0 includes multiple enhancements including an updated and improved calculation engine and additional multi-language support. Multiple technical developments are also incorporated including support for 64-bit computing.
Matrix Gemini LIMS v6.0 marks the latest release of Autoscribe’s Laboratory Information Management System. The software features unique, modern configuration capabilities to ensure an exact fit to customer requirements without the need for custom coding. The use of the Matrix Configuration tools speeds the implementation of systems that are easy for staff to use while ensuring that systems can adapt as needs evolve. This ensures an extended system life and reduces the overall cost of ownership. A key to Matrix Gemini’s success is the separation of the underlying core code from the configuration files. This allows users to upgrade their system without affecting the core code, the system upgrade path, or the supportability of the system.
The new calculation engine in Matrix Gemini LIMS v6.0 enables even the most complex final results to be calculated from the raw analytical data, enabling laboratories to automate all their calculations within the LIMS. Extended language support enables individual users to have a user interface tailored to their needs, allowing multi-site and multi-language organizations to run a single LIMS supporting a multi-language interface.
