Autoscribe Showcases Updated LIMS Technology at PITTCON

Philadelphia, USA – 20-22 March, 2023

Visitors to the Autoscribe Informatics booth will see the key developments introduced to our flagship Matrix Gemini LIMS since the last PITTCON. The world’s most configurable Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) has been further enhanced with a completely new web-based user interface. Other significant changes include improved test creation and editing capabilities that reduce the time to set up or modify tests, and enhancements to the result entry workflow that improve the efficiency of adding notes or selecting options from a picklist within the web-based application.

The look and feel, as well as the responsiveness, of the interface has been greatly improved as the browser application takes advantage of the latest web technologies and standards. Of course, the new interface can be used whether the LIMS is running on-premise or remotely in the cloud. It is important to note that users can easily upgrade to the newest versions of Matrix because of the separation of a user’s specific configuration information from the underlying application software. This is, and always has been, a key feature of Autoscribe’s LIMS.

The Pittcon Conference and Expo is the major US based laboratory event. Held annually, it enables laboratory and quality staff to catch up on the latest trends in the industry and learn about the new technology that will help them work more efficiently.

For those embarking on a new LIMS project it is the ideal opportunity to meet us and gather the information you need to move forward. Visit us on our stand to discuss your requirements and see a demonstration of Matrix Gemini LIMS and how it can be configured to your exact needs. Our staff, experienced in all aspects of LIMS, will be delighted to help you.

Matrix Gemini LIMS is known for its configurability. Unique among LIMS vendors every customer LIMS is based on the same software with configurable workflows and screen designs to suit any industry. The graphical configuration tools allow controlled changes to be made to the system without the need for software coding. This ensures that your system can be modified over time to meet changing business requirements without compromising system support or upgradeability of the core code.

“Pittcon provides us the perfect opportunity to showcase the significant changes and improvements we have made to Matrix Gemini LIMS over the past year”, said Tim Daniels, Marketing Manager. “We see many of our loyal customers here annually as well as meet new clients who may be just starting their journey into digitalization and automation within the laboratory”.
