Bio-Reference Laboratories, Inc. Announces Kansas Correctional Healthcare Contract

Bio-Reference Laboratories, Inc. announced effective June 7, 2004, it has begun providing laboratory services for Correct Care Solutions (CCS) under their contract with the Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC). CCS took over the contract with the KDOC October 1, 2003 and CCS has contracted with Bio-Reference to provide clinical laboratory services. This contract represents a significant geographical push for Bio-Reference since it is the first correctional healthcare contract pursuant to which Bio-Reference has agreed to provide services west of the Mississippi River.
