Carl Zeiss Acquisition of the Cell Science Division of Bio-Rad
Carl Zeiss Jena GmbH, Cornell University and Bio-Rad Laboratories will hold a joint press conference on Friday, May 28 to announce important business and scientific news. The announcement will include information by Carl Zeiss and Cornell University of a technology-transfer and collaborative-research agreement that will revolutionize biomedical imaging. Demonstrations of this patented imaging technology will be conducted, and B-roll and stills will be provided.
Carl Zeiss is acquiring the Cell Science Division of Bio-Rad. As part of this acquisition, there will be a transfer of the Cornell University license for two-photon laser microscopy from the BioRad Cell Science Division to Carl Zeiss Jena GmbH.
