Chemist
Position Summary
Catalent is looking to recruit a Chemist to join a growing Quality department at our site in Woodstock, IL.
The Chemist will be responsible for testing raw materials, in-process, finished product, and stability samples as well as investigating out of specification test results.
Additionally, the Chemist must be able to work Tuesday – Saturday from 11:00 PM " 7:30 AM .
Requirements:
The Role
• Perform analytical testing and calculations on raw materials, in-process bulk material, finished product, cleaning, customer, and stability samples
• Operate analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR
• Prepare test reports and perform cGMP documentation in all areas of the laboratory; perform peer review of documentation
• Calibrate, revalidate, and maintain instruments and equipment in accordance with SOP requirements
The Candidate
•Bachelor of Science in Chemistry preferred
•0-5 years pharmaceutical industry experience
•Experience in a cGMP and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
•Hands-on experience with HPLC, UV-Vis, and FTIR instrumentation
