Chemtech takes part in the American production and refining market

The American market currently refines around 20 million oil barrels a day for internal consumption, and is ranked as the largest oil consumer market globally, according to Reuters news agency.

Having this market in mind, the whole world is watching as efforts are being made to find new oil wells in the Gulf of México; the deep-water technology developed in Brazil will be responsible for finding oil in that region.

Chemtech, through its Houston office, is ready to offer the required support to American refineries by providing operational intelligence and furnace analysis solutions.  Having worked in projects for ExxonMobil, Saudi Aramco, and Chevron Chemtech has acquired the necessary expertise and know how.

At ExxonMobil, for instance, Chemtech implemented a data visualization system in 25 refineries throughout the world, and this year it has been responsible for the upgrading of the system with new screens and functionalities.

Partnerships with American companies – such as Berwanger and Pavilion – are also a proof of Chemtech’s expertise.  “Chemtech is a reference in the oil & gas industry”, pointed out Berwanger business developer Fernando Rendon.
