Chemtech wins in the service exports category of the Prêmio Análise-FIA de Comércio Exterior 2006

Chemtech was one of the winners of the Prêmio Análise-FIA de Comércio Exterior 2006 with the case “From Petrobras to ExxonMobil – Sales growth through the exports of specialized services for the oil industry”.

The project has given a small demonstration of the company internationalization, which has increased its total sales turnover abroad from 7.2% in the 2001/2002 fiscal year to 22.5% in 2002/2003.  This has strengthened the idea that a smaller company can be competitive in the international services market as long as it has something special to offer.

Chemtech has been in the market for nearly 18 years, has an office in Houston, and has been operating abroad for 13 years.  It has participated in projects in the United States, Argentina, Norway, Germany, Russia, Japan, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and Austria.  It has helped to insert Brazil in the global economy map.

The award ceremony will take place next September 29, in São Paulo.
