CLSI and APHL Announce January-March 2012 Webinars
Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA-January 2012-The Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) and the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) recently announced their joint January-March 2012 schedule of educational webinars for clinical and public health laboratories. Programs, based on current CLSI documents, are intended to help pathologists, managers, supervisors, technologists, and laboratory and quality consultants learn how to optimize practices and processes in their laboratories.
Webinar speakers are subject matter experts from CLSI committees and working groups involved in creating CLSI documents. “The January through March educational webinars offer a wide range of topics at an affordable price,” said Marcy Anderson, MS, MT(ASCP), Director, Education, CLSI. She added, “A large number of laboratory staff can participate in the live training. Participants can gain essential information from experts in the field and have the opportunity to ask detailed questions during the question-and-answer session at the end of the program.”
